Welcome


			There's sound around... Welcome to SOUND AROUND, the Öresund Biennale of Contemporary Music. The festival took place from the 4th - 21st October 2007 in Copenhagen and Malmö with ground-breaking concerts, installations and seminars. SOUND AROUND placed emphasis on the region's contemporary music and set it in dialogue with other cultures and genres. SOUND AROUND 2007 presented internationally acclaimed ensembles, premieres of Danish, Swedish and Chinese works, music for children and a concert for 100 loudspeakers. SOUND AROUND was arranged in collaboration with the Danish Composer's Society and Musik i Syd. The latest news Sound Around will not be continued in 2009. Contact the Danish Composer's Society for information and news about the future of the festival.
